45. Female adults in the New Territories had higher PA participation than those on
the HK Island and in Kowloon, whereas both male and female adults on the HK Island had
higher sports participation than those in the NT and Kowloon. This was probably because
the sports facilities on the HK Island were more accessible.

46. The general prediction before the study was that most people would participate
in PA in summer. However, it was found in this study that seasonal difference in PA/sports
participation was not obvious for children, adolescents and adults alike.
