Crowds floCK for
anothEr busy laMMa show
The LAMMA show held at Newark,
Lincolnshire has rapidly become the number
one machinery show in the UK with the 2012
show attracting more than 750 exhibitors and
over 35,000 visitors.
The Case IH stand garnered much attention
with two new Axial-Flow combines, including
the flagship Axial-Flow 9230 on tracks. "There
is certainly a growing group customers that
are seeing the benefits of tracks," said Case
IH product manager, Paul Freeman. "Tracks
offer greater traction and less soil compaction
allowing customers to run the machines in a
wider set of conditions."
The new Axial-Flow Series 130, which replaces
the 88 Series, sees rated power increase to
353hp for the 7130 with an additional 34hp
boost available for unloading. The Series 230
succeeds the 20 Series and is topped by the
Axial-Flow 9230, which has up to 571hp on
tap to ensure that maximum performance is
always available.
At the show, the Case IH Advanced Farming
Systems team offered visitors a chance to test
their skills on the AFS simulator, designed to
highlight the production efficiencies that can
be made by carefully controlling the operation
of combines, tractors and implements.
