Remediation of former Radium Hill Company site Nelson Parade Hunters Hillenvironmental assessment6.2 Consultation activities for this EA6.2.1Consultation prior to this EAA number of consultation activities were undertaken prior to the commencement of this EA.The majority of these consultation activities occurred during the preparation of the previousEA (prepared by GHD), which was not completed and focused on a modified remediationproposal. Much of the consultation is however still relevant to the current project and this EAprocess and a summary of these activities and feedback received is provided in the followingsections.6.2.2Government authority and agency consultationGovernment authorities and agencies were consulted before and throughout the EApreparation.SPA formed a Project Control Group (PCG) consisting of DECCW, NSW Health, RMS,DP&I, Ryall Environmental, Department of Finance and Services (formerly Department ofServices and Technology) to advise on and coordinate all aspects of the project. The PCGmet on 10 May 2009, 10 September 2009, 4 November 2009 and 21 January 2010.In addition, SPA has had significant interaction with individual members of the PCGparticularly representatives from DECCW, Ryall Environmental and Department of Financeand Services.
