Terms and Conditions for Vodafone Wild Card Entry Competition in Dadagiri Unlimited onZee Bangla (hereinafter referred “Vodafone Wild Card Entry Competition”):The SMC is organized by Vodafone Essar Limited, Vodafone Essar Mobile Services Limited,Vodafone Essar South Limited, Vodafone Essar Gujarat Limited, Vodafone Essar East Limited,Vodafone Essar Digilink Limited, Vodafone Essar Cellular Limited, Vodafone Essar SpacetelLimited (collectively as “Vodafone Essar”) in their respective telecom service areas (as listedherein below***) for valid prepaid and postpaid cellular mobile subscribers of Vodafone Essarsubject to the terms and conditions of the Vodafone Wild Card Entry CompetitionDuration of the Vodafone Wild Card Entry Competition:The Vodafone Wild Card Entry Competition starts from 27 th July 2009 and shall be valid till15 th October 2009 (both days inclusive).Eligibility to participate in the Vodafone Wild Card Entry Competition:Who can participate?Any Valid Vodafone Subscribers* (except the Subscribers from Vodafone Essar’s Chennaiand Tamil Nadu Telecom Service Areas)There is no entry cost to participate in this competition.How to Participate:(i) The Anchor will ask one question every day till 30 th episode. The eligible Subscribers(“Participants”) may send SMS with the keyword “DDG A/B” to a toll free short code56565 (toll free) from their Vodafone mobile number/s to answer the question.(ii) The medium of participation in the SMC is through the toll free SMS, however, only oneentry shall be considered while selection of winner/s. The Competition to be open between 9pm -12pm on Mon/Tue and Wed ( Whenever Dadagiri (Org) is on air). During this time if any customersms DDG he will get the question of that particular day between 9pm and 12pm only , he gets thequestion of that particular Day and the call to action. Customer to sms DDG (space) A/B toanswer the question. He gets the Message “ Thank You for participating in DADAGIRI , you willbe informed about your result . Please refer the T&C on www.vodafone.in/competition.After 12 pm and till 9 pm of the next day if the customer sms DDG or DDG(space) A/B he will getthe response saying “Sorry the Competition is closed for the day , it will be open gain on Monday,Tuesday &Wednesday from 9pm to 12pm , please refer the T&C onwww.vodafone.in/competition. This is applicable also for customer who sms the same onThru/Fri/Sat and Sunday . The contest is valid in Delhi,Mumbai,Kolkata,Rest of WestBengal,Assam&NorthEast & Bihar Circle only.(iii.)The Subscribers participating in the competition shall be asked 1 Question/s whichmay have multiple options;

(iv.)There will be only One winner during the Vodafone Wild Card Entry competition.In case there is more than one round of the Competition, no participant can beWinner in more than one round of the Competition. Further to clarify, in case in around a participant is a winner, though he can still participate in the subsequentrounds of the competition, however he (despite he being subscriber of more than 1Vodafone mobile number) will be disqualified to be a winner of any subsequent roundof the competition.The Subscribers can answer such question/s by sending SMS “DDG” A/B to toll freenumber 56565 from their Vodafone number/s.The Participant who answers correctly (across Vodafone Essar Telecom Service Areas aslisted herein) may be Winner for the Vodafone Wild Card Entry Competition. In case morethan one correct entry, winner/s may be selected through draw of lot:Prize:There will be One category of Prizes:Winner to participate in Dadagiri Unlimited who will get to after the 30 th episode.Wherever, Winner/s is/are required to be selected through draws due to tie, the same shall bedone through a random draw. Terms and Conditions:Please read these terms and conditions (including the above instructions which shall beconsidered to be integral part of the Terms and Conditions of this competition) carefully beforeregistering / participating in the Competition. By proceeding with registration for, and/orparticipating in the Competition, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these terms andconditions:1. The Competition is open from 27 th July 2009_till 15 th October 2009 (both days inclusive).2. All valid Vodafone Essar Subscribers* (except the Subscribers from Vodafone Essar’sChennai and Tamil Nadu Telecom Service Areas) shall be entitled to participate in theCompetition. If, in any State and/or territory or part thereof, the running of thisCompetition is prohibited, the Subscribers from such State and/or territory or part thereofshall not be eligible to participate in the Competition. No further notice shall be given bythe Organisors, in this regard.3. There will One Winner/s of the SMC Competition and the selection shall be subject tothese terms and conditions and further there shall be no consolation prize/s forsubscriber participants even if their score/s are similar to the Winner.4. The Winner/s ("Winner") may be announced through Vodafone Essar's website'www.vodafone.in' and/or through any other manner, which shall be available for a limitedperiod only, as Organizers may deem appropriate.5. Wherever, the Winner is required to be picked through draw due to tie or otherwise, theselection of the Winner will be by way of a random computer-generated draw amongstcorrectly answered entries, and decision of the Auditors, appointed by the Organisers inthis regard, and / or of the Organisers shall be final and binding on the Subscribers andparticipants of the Competition. No dispute, of whatsoever nature, in this respect shall beentertained by the Organizers.6. On announcement of the Winner, the Winner will be required to confirm his/heracceptance of the Prize within 72 hours of receiving information about the same to thedesignated number and / or person. The Organisors reserve the right to replace theWinner in case of non receipt of said confirmation from the Winner within said 72hours.8. The Winner can be considered as disqualified for the Prize, in case he/she fails to clear alloutstanding dues payable to Vodafone Essar and / or is not a Valid*/Active** VodafoneSubscriber on the date of claiming the Prize.9. The Prize for the Competition will be given only to the Winner in whose name the Vodafonemobile phone number is registered and it is the winner's responsibility to produce suchdocument and/or credentials to prove his/her identity. It is the responsibility of the Winnerto produce such identity proof and/or credentials at his/her own cost. The Prize is nontransferable, non-negotiable and non assignable in the name of any other person;10. The Prize shall be subject to Income tax, gift tax or any other statutory levies / tax(including withholding taxes) as may be applicable and the Winner of the respective Prizeshall be responsible and liable to pay such taxes, if any. In case the Winner fails tocomply with the applicable law/s, the Organisors will be entitled to pick another name ofthe Winner/s to replace the Winner who is in default.11. The Prize will stand withdrawn in case it is found that there are any criminal or otherproceedings against subscriber prohibiting him from any international travel.

12. The Winner shall not be given any option to choose airlines / hotels etc. No request ofpreferred airlines / hotels, date/s, cricket matches etc. of the Winner/s shall beentertained by Vodafone Essar. The Winners shall bear the cost and incidental expensesof traveling from their respective locations to Kolkatta International airport or to such otherAirport in India as may be required by Vodafone Essar. The Prize/s of the SMC is/are notencashable.To clarify further the Fly to Kolkata International Airport will mean and include only thefollowing:a. Vodafone Essar shall have absolute discretion to decide the airline/s, class oftravel, accommodation and other facilities etc. to be made available therein.The Food expenses during the trip and stay in a city of Kolkata shall beborne and paid by the Winner only and Vodafone Essar shall not be liable orresponsible for the same.b. Any other expense, of whatsoever nature, will not be borne by VodafoneEssar. The Winner will have to arrange local travel at his/her own cost, for allrequirements for the Prize and to collect the Prize from Vodafone Essar’sdesignated place / office.The Winner/s of this category of Prize shall wear Vodafone branded T-Shirt andVodafone branded Cap (which shall be provided by the Organisers) .13. Any additional expense (including local travel, food etc.), of whatsoever nature, will not beborne by Vodafone Essar and the winner shall have to bear such additional expenses athis own. The Winner will have to arrange local travel in relevant city/ies at his/her owncost, for all requirements for the Prize and to collect the Prize, if required. In case of anychange in the schedule/s including city in which the program is being shot, it shall be theresponsibility of the Winner to bear any additional cost of travel to the new city.14. Vodafone Essar shall not be responsible for any change in the schedule of the travel to theevent. In case, the Winner wishes to stay or extend its stay beyond the stay organised bythe Organisors, the Winner shall bear all expenses / charges including charges towardstraveling back to India, accommodation, food, local travel, insurance etc. during hisextended stay in the where the even is organised. In case of extended stay of theWinner in the country where the event is organsied, the Winner, specifically releases anddischarges Vodafone Essar from any and / or all liabilities/ responsibilities whatsoeverVodafone Essar may have towards the Winner etc. due to his participating in theCompetition or being Winner of the Competition.15. Vodafone Essar shall not be responsible for travel insurance, passport, VISA and/or itsvalidity. The Winner of the first category of Prize will have to arrange valid Passport, validVISA and Travel insurance, at his/her own cost, for all requirements for the trip to theEvent.16. To comply with all terms and conditions of the air-ticket, airline operator, travel operator,Hotel, destination country etc. will be the responsibility of the Winner. Vodafone Essarshall be no way responsible to the Winners or their legalheirs/successors/representatives.17. Vodafone Essar, no where guarantees / warrantees about the fitness, quality, suitability etc.of the Prize.18. The Subscribers/participant/winner hereby irrevocably authorize the Organisors, that thedata gathered during and/or after the Competition in respect of the participants (includingSubscriber name and photograph etc.) shall be the property of Vodafone Essar and

Vodafone Essar shall be entitled to use the same in its communications includingmarketing promotions and advertisements along with/without Vodafone Essar’s brand.19. All costs and expenses for collecting (including travel etc.) the Prize will be borne by theWinner and no claim of whatsoever nature will be entertained by Vodafone Essar in thisregard.20. The Winner shall be responsible for his / her own behavior, misconduct, unlawful acts,actions / inactions etc. during the entire trip including his/her stay in relevant city inKolkata and the Winner hereby indemnify and shall keep indemnified, Vodafone EssarLimited, its subsidiaries, affiliates, associates, directors, employees, agents etc. from anyclaim, actions, suits, dispute/s, liability etc. arising due to or in connection thereto or outof the aforesaid misbehavior, misconduct, unlawful acts, actions/inactions etc. of theWinner.21. Vodafone Essar shall not be liable in any manner for any mishap, accident, injury or damagesetc. of whatsoever nature, caused to the Winner while availing the benefits of the Prizes.Further, Vodafone Essar shall not be liable in any manner for any loss, damage, theft, orany other mishap caused in respect of the Prize/s.22. There are no charges for participating in the Competition. However, merely participating inthe Competition will not entitle any participant to win the prize, and the participant whoanswer correctly may, at the end of the Competition, be declared the winner unless thereare more than 1 such winning entries, when the Winner shall be based on a draw of lot(as mentioned elsewhere in these terms).23. Apart from the entitlement to the above Prize, the Winner or their legal heirs will have noother rights or claims against the Organisors.24. Employees / Associates / Agents / Dealers (including their family members / relatives) ofVodafone Essar and/or Organisors will not be qualified for winning the Prize.25. The Prize shall not be transferable / redeemable against any other service offered by theOrganisors nor for cash. No request shall be entertained by the Organisors in this regard.26. The Organisors reserve the right to change / modify the Competition or terms and conditionsof the Competition, at any time at its own discretion, without assigning any reason. TheOrganisors shall not be obliged to give any prior notice for aforesaid change /modification.27. In case of any dispute or difference in respect of or in connection with the Competition and/orthe Prizes herein, the decision of the Organisors shall be final and binding on allconcerned.28. Participation in this Competition implies acceptance to all the terms and conditions of theCompetition mentioned herein.29. The Competition will be conducted under the supervision/control of a Chartered Accountantin whole time practice.30. Any dispute/matter arising out of or in relation to the Competition is subject to jurisdiction ofcompetent court/s of Mumbai alone.31. The Winner/s shall always be under obligation to adhere to and/or satisfy terms & conditionsof the channel (in this case “Zee Bangla”) with respect to entry in Zee Bangla TVProgram i.e “DADAGIRI Unlimited at “Zee Bangla”
