which wingfor whom?concerning paragliders, the question of »which wing for whom« comes up often for manufacturersand fl ight schools. However, naturally it is also the pilots who need to knowwhich equipment, specifi cally which glider and harness, are the best suited for him/her.And the choice is not getting any easier, with over 40 manufacturers making up the paraglidingmarket. The certifi cation procedure barely has any real validity anymore. We, as manufacturer, feel obligated to introduce our products and their respective differences to you, and to illustratewhich product is best suited for each specifi c pilot class. Thus, you have the option to fi lter out thebest glider for you according to important criteria. Our entire paragiderpalette is depicted in theopposite table, accordingto suitability for specifi cpilot target groups. This table should alsomake it easier for youto fi nd the glider bestsuited for you.ParagliderEN and LTF NormsHybrid GliderGenerally, the European Norm applies within Eu-Along with the EN,rope (EN). This means that each singleproduct is tested at an inspection center and isassigned to a specifi c class. Meanwhile, manygliders are being tested with folding lines. Fold-This serves to highlight the signifi cant features of each glider. For example, each skywalkparaglider has the pictogram »JET FLAP«. But there are also others, such as »3-Line-Levels«, »Hybrid-Lines«or »2+2 Guarantee«. A description of each pictogram follows. Thus, there are always at least two categories withinone class and the glider must be classifi edwithin one of these: Low level or high level. Aglider which does not exhaust the limits of itscategory can be identifi ed as a low level wing, with a tendency according to the individualto help achieve gentler collapse behaviour withspecifi c adjustment of the glider. The achievablecertifi cation class during relevant manoeverssuch as collapse and front collapse, ispotentially falsely classifi ed when folding linesare used. In this case, the pilot will be misledwith regard to the actual safety performance ofhis paraglider.2 Plus 2: The skywalk 2+2 Guarantee includes materialand workmanship fl aws and applies to all certifi ed (LTF orEN) privately used gliders.
