It is a way to show humility, because it shows youare not a “know it all.” Now I would like for you to tell me someof your questions. Take a few minutes to tell your mom and dadyour questions.I still think about many of my questions. I have foundmany answers, but I didn’t find them in school. We studiedand learned the answers to many questions -- like “What arethe names of each capital of every state?” -- but we never gotaround to my questions.Now I know that the reason I didn’t find them in schoolwas because we didn’t study the right books. Asking the rightquestions and reading the right books is so important.I found the answers to my questions in the funniest place.It was in an old dusty book that had been around my house aslong as I could remember, but I never read it. It was on a shelfwaiting to be opened. And when I began to read it, the answersto my deepest questions began to be answered.This book was the Bible. That sounds funny to many adultsbecause they think of the Bible only as a religious book andmost of the questions I was asking were not thought to bereligious questions. I had thought that this was a Book just forSunday School, but how wrong I was. Sincere questions thatwe ask of God give God respect. They actually honor Him byacknowledging His wisdom and authority.
