Government of Jammu and KashmirCivil Secretariat, Finance DepartmentSubject: - Payment of Dearness Allowance to State Government Employees-Revised rate effective from 01.0 1.20 10Reference: - Cabinet Decision No. 13711012010 Dated 24.5.2010Government Order No. 1 77m of 2010Dated ~6/512010In continuation of Government Order No.10-F of 2010 Dated 8.1.2010, it ishereby ordered that all the Government servants including Work Charged andWhole Time Contingent Paid employees working in regular pay bands lscaleshall be paid Dearness Allowance as under:-. . . . . . . ,. . , . ~ ~ ...Existing Rate of DA I Revised Rate of DADate from which applicable,27 %35% , I 01.01.20101. The differential amount payable on account of revised Dearness Allowance w.e.f01.01.2010 to 30.6.2010 to the State Government employees shall be credited totheir individual GPF Accounts;2. The DA arrears w.e.f January 2010 to 30" June 2010 in favour of StateGovernment employees coveted under New Pension Scheme and those retiringwithin next six months shall be paid in cash;3. The basic pay for the purpose of this order shall mean the basic pay as defined inNote below Article 27(aa) of J&K Civil Service Regulations.4. The payment of Dearness Allowance involving a fraction of 50 paisa and aboveshall be rounded to the next higher rupee and the fraction of less than 50 paisashall be ignored.5.
