Clamping DevicesMany sample preparations applications require thesectioning of a specimen from a small or irregularlyshaped sample or component part. The small size orirregular sample shape can create positioning andclamping difficulties for the operator. To overcomethese difficulties, METKON offers a number of specialclamping devices for use with SERVOCUT abrasivecutters. METKON cut-off machines are equipped withstainless T - slot clamping tables. Thecutting surface is cooled by spray nozzles whose water jets hit both thecutting wheel and the specimen.
