String <strong>Puppets</strong>String puppets have strings tied toeach part of the puppet’s body. A personmakes a string puppet move by pullingthe strings. The person stands above thepuppet. He pulls one string to move thepuppet’s head. He pulls other strings tomove its hands and feet. A string puppetis called a marionette (mehr-ee-uh-NET).String puppets shouldnot move in a jerky way.7
