What makes uslaugh till we burst, causes our blood to boilor inspires us so much we have we have towrite it down so that everyone can share it?Since the end of October 2005 the <strong>Almeida</strong> <strong>The</strong>atrehas been on a quest for first-time playwrights, theunique voices and un-tapped ideas at the heart of ourlocal community.We’ve asked for just two pages of a new idea indialogue format intended for live performances on anytheme to be sent to the <strong>Almeida</strong> by 20th January 2006.We are offering a small group of first-time playwrightsthe opportunity to collaborate with professionalplaywrights, directors and actors on a programme ofwork shops leading to public presentations of originalshort plays at the <strong>Almeida</strong> in the summer.For more information about WRITE. please visitwww.almeida.co.uk<strong>The</strong> WRITE.
