I believe that an artist must be

I paint using various techniques
both classical and impressionistic.
I express experiences of
love, hate, anxiety, regret, joy,
and happiness. In my art I hope
to convey the balance and
ultimately the unity of life.
Mary Ann Pumpelly
Mary Ann has painted for
many years and is currently
fascinated by the vibrancy and
transparency of watercolour.
She uses this medium to create
realistic landscapes from her
travels and in life-like portraits
of people and animals.

Mary uses vibrant colours and
textures to create dynamic
paintings that celebrate the
joy of life. Her favourite themes
-flowers, animal portraits and
abstracts. She enjoys painting
in watercolour, acrylic and
mixed media collage.
