NSCS Board of Trustees’ Scholarships AwardedLINCOLN – Full-tuition Nebraska State College System (NSCS) Board of Trustees'Scholarships were recently awarded to graduating high school seniors throughout thestate. The renewable scholarships, worth approximately $12,300 over four years, wereawarded to Nebraska students. The students will attend Chadron, Peru, and Wayne StateColleges this fall.Chair of the NSCS Board of Trustees Willa Kosman, Scottsbluff, stated, “The Board ofTrustees’ Scholarships provide academically-gifted students from Nebraska theopportunity to pursue an outstanding college education right here in the state.”All Board of Trustees’ Scholarship recipients scored at least a 25 on the ACT or 1100 onthe SAT college entrance exams and are Nebraska residents. They also had to providewritten recommendation letters from high school teachers or administrators.
