Here are some of the latest product developments…LABC-registered Insulation Systems - there are lotsof ways to make old buildings more energy effi cient usingnatural materials – saving money on fuel as well as reducingyour carbon dioxide emissions. Many of the insulationmaterials widely available on the market are damaging to theenvironment in their production as well as potentially causinglandfi ll/disposal problems in the future. We have thereforeproduced a range of insulation solutions using materialsthat are kinder to the environment. Our systems are nowregistered with Local Authority Building Control to make iteasier to specify and install anywhere in England and Wales– contact our sales team on 01874 611350 to discussyour project. DecolissDecoliss is a pre-mixed lime product developed to obtain apolished surface. It consists of natural lime, fi ne granulometryaggregates including talc and additives to assist the applicatoragainst shrinkage and tearing. It does not contain cement orother pozzolanic components.Suitable for: Fine fl oated level hydraulic or lime puttybackgrounds.Coverage: 1.7kg per mm of thickness per m 2Availability: 10 kg bucketHourdexBased on St Astier natural hydraulic lime with the addition of lowsulphate cement, which makes it fast acting, gaining most of itsstrength within 7 days, equivalent to that of a NHL 5 but withbetter breathability. Also available in white (Tradiblanc) for bettersand colour reproduction.Suitable for: For building mortars, renders stipple and basecoats on new build. Also roofing, chimneys, floor tiling.Coverage: To make 1 tonne of wet mortar/plaster, 800kg ofaggregate is required: for a 3:1 mix 125kg of Hourdex required,for a 2.5:1 mix 150kg of Hourdex required, for a 2:1 mix 175kg ofHourdex required.Availability: 35kgThermocromexOne coat, through coloured render based on natural hydrauliclime and cement. Equivalent strength to that of a NHL 5but with better breathability and fl exibility.Suitable for: Lightweight cement insulation blocks, clayblocks, brick and stone.Coverage: 1.6/1.7 kg. per mm of thickness per m 2Availability: 30kgLithomex Stone Restoration and Repair MortarThis blend of natural hydraulic lime, OPC, fi ller, lightweight fi llerand additive has characteristics similar to the host masonrywith adequate bond strength and a good modulus of elasticity.Lithomex is vapour permeable (comparable to an NHL 2) anddurable. It can be dressed with similar tools to the originalmasonry and remains workable long enough to allow details tobe fashioned. It adsorbs water suffi ciently in wetting and dryingperiods to match adjacent masonry. Lithomex can be colourmatched to your stone colour.For use: Stone and brickCoverage: 1.6 to 1.7 kg. per m 2 per mm. of thicknessAvailability: 25kgBeforeAfterUniprotectA clear, breathable protective coating, which provides protectionagainst chemical, physical and biological agents such as acidrain, frost, bio growth and dirt.For use: Internally and externally on surfaces as concrete,stone, bricks, clay terracotta, lime renders, gypsum.Uniprotect increases the resistance of limewash against adverseweather conditions.Coverage: 5 to 10 m 2 per LitreAvailability: 12.5 Litres

Thecrystals refract light, which gives a unique aesthetic quality to thepaint-unmatched by any other. <strong>Lime</strong>wash subtly refl ects the natureof the substrate and pigments move through the paint to create alively fi nish.
