TROOP FANTASY CAMP 2012LEADER INFORMATION SHEETWhen -Where -Who -Cost -Camp Sites -Buildings -Equipment -Cooking -Meals -Parking -May 25 th , 26 th and 27 th , 2012. Troops will set up and register on Friday nightand the game will begin on Saturday morning.Camp Harris, 1250 Mineville Road.Open to all registered Scouts and Scouters in Dartmouth Area, on a firstcome-first serve basis *Note* - There are only openings for 50 teams of 5persons. (Cubs who have completed swim up are welcome) All visitors mustbe cleared with Fantasy Camp Co-rd.$20.00 per participant and leader if preregistered before April 3 rd , 2012. Anyregistrations received after that will be charged $25.00 each if there is room.$10.00 of this fee must be submitted with the preregistration. Fees cover costof Saturday snack, Saturday supper, Saturday mug-up, event crest, CampHarris fees and materials to enhance the games.Will be assigned by size of Troop in the order that your preregistration isreceived. Troop’s sites will be open for selection starting at 7:00 p.m. onThursday May, 24 th . Troop leaders must check with Fantasy Camp co-rdbefore selecting a campsite.All buildings will be in use. Troops must camp out.All standard equipment used in weekend camping and drinking water.By Coleman stove. Open fires only if weather permits.The only meals supplied by games staff will be the snack break on Saturdayafternoon, Saturday supper and Saturday mug-up. All other food and mealswill be the responsibility of each Troop.Parking space is limited. We will use the Sagar Commons as the mainparking area. The outer parking lot near the Minesville Rd. should not beused. The only vehicles that will be permitted to park in the main camparea beyond the Dixon Lodge will be staff, support cast andhandicapped vehicles. It is suggested that Troops use parental support asmuch as possible for transportation. During peak traffic times we will have atraffic control set up. Note: - vehicles may come into camp to drop offYouth and equipment but then must leave camp or park on the SagarCommons. At no time will parking or stopping at the bottom of the hillin front of the Dixon Lodge be permitted.
