This Intent to Transfer Form must be completed byboth student and a GPC TAG counselor.Terms of the guarantee:1. Apply for admission to Georgia Southern University during the application filingperiod for semester in which you wish to transfer.2. Complete the required courses in English composition (two courses) andmathematics (one course) listed below with C grades or better at least twosemesters before planning to transfer.3. Complete 60 Georgia Southern University transferable units and all courses in therequired course pattern listed below with C grades or better by the end of thesemester preceding transfer.4. Complete the last 30 of any additionally transferred credits at GPC received fromother institutions; these other institutions, to be accepted at Georgia Southern,must come from regionally accepted accrediting bodies.5. Earn a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in all Georgia Southern Universitytransferable course work by the end of the current semester and maintain a 2.0GPA or higher in all courses taken prior to transfer.6. Transfer with the same major at Georgia Southern University as at GPC. If astudent changes majors, then Area F of the core will not articulate.Required Course Pattern:Completion of the core curriculum is required. You must earn a grade of C or better ineach course:Area A: English 1101 and English 1102 and one math course from thefollowing: Math 1001; Math 1111, Math 1113 (Precalculus) or Math 2431(Calculus I).
