UNDP Small Grants Program Database<br />

The Small Grants Program (SGP) provides f<strong>in</strong>ancial and technical support to<br />

US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) / INFOTERRA<br />

EPA is the US governmental organization concerned with environmental protection.<br />

The EPA has a huge Internet site, with a lot of useful <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation on law, legislation,<br />

grants, education, guides, and advice on how to deal with <strong>water</strong> wisely. Citizens,<br />

<strong>local</strong> government, NGOs and companies can benefit from this <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation service.<br />

INFOTERRA is an <strong>in</strong>ternational environmental referral and research network made<br />

up of about 170 countries coord<strong>in</strong>ated by the United Nations Environment Program<br />

(UNEP). The US National Focal Po<strong>in</strong>t <strong>for</strong> INFOTERRA is located at the EPA.<br />

INFOTERRA/USA responds to requests from the <strong>in</strong>ternational community <strong>for</strong><br />

environmental <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation through document delivery, database search<strong>in</strong>g,<br />

bibliographic products, purchas<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation and referrals to experts.<br />
