215.3 Customers may operate generation equipment in parallel with the Company<br />
distribution system under specific terms and conditions as established in the latest<br />
revision of <strong>CenterPoint</strong> <strong>Energy</strong> specification 007-231-76.<br />
215.4 Before Customer-owned generating equipment may be interconnected to the<br />
Company system, application must be made and approved. (See <strong>CenterPoint</strong><br />
<strong>Energy</strong> specification 007-231-76.) For more information, contact the <strong>Service</strong><br />
Consultant at the nearest Company Office. (See page 3)<br />
215.5 Customers may not install or use any transfer switch on the high side (<strong>CenterPoint</strong><br />
<strong>Energy</strong> side) of the meter or any transfer switch between the meter and the meter<br />
socket jaws.<br />
215.6 Customer owned standby generators that are to be permanently installed, must be<br />
located on the load side (customer side) of the meter, behind the main breaker<br />
(switch) and must have a transfer switch installed that prevents tying the running<br />
generator into the <strong>CenterPoint</strong> <strong>Energy</strong> system, whether the CNP lines are hot or<br />
dead.<br />
216 Electrified Fences<br />
Use of the Company's electric service to energize fencing or to energize devices<br />
which simultaneously energize fencing is prohibited.<br />
