another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”KJV2 Corinthians 4:4“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believenot, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,should shine unto them.”We see here that those whose minds are blinded, are they who believe not;and because they believe not, their minds continue in darkness, and areproper subjects for Satan to work on; and he deepens the darkness, andincreases the hardness. But who is meant by the god of this world? It isgenerally answered, the same who is called the prince of this world, John16:11. But the question recurs, who is the prince of this world? And theanswer to both is, SATAN. v“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through hissubtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is inChrist. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have notpreached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, oranother gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him,” (2Corinthians 11:3-4).Notice from the (2 Corinthians 11 verse 4) that a Christian can receive a differentspirit [a spirit other than the Holy Spirit]. Verse 3 says that DECEPTION opensthe door for the wrong spirit to "afflict" the believer. (Ephesians Chapter 4 verse27), speaks of the devil gaining a foothold in the believer. When a wrong spirit`takes hold' of a believer, he begins to want to control more and more areas of hislife. “Neither give place to the devil,” (Ephesians 4:27).“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey thetruth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucifiedamong you?” (Galatians 3:1).http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 16
