Requests should be made in writingvia email and credentials will be limited to workingmembers of the media. Spouses, dates, childrenand other nonworkers are not permitted in thepress box without prior approval. Credentials willbe available for pickup on gameday at the Will Callwindow at Finley Stadium. Will Call is located atthe front of First Tennessee Pavilion to the west ofthe stadium.Visiting Radio Crew InformationTwo courtesy broadcast-quality telephone lines areavailable for use by visiting crews, as is a privatebroadcast booth.PhotographersCredentials for photographers will be issued on agame-by-game basis, and photographers shouldcontact Jay Blackman, <strong>UTC</strong> Assistant <strong>Athletics</strong>Director for Communications and <strong>Media</strong> Relations,with requests. Photographers are expected tohonor all sideline policies and are not permittedin either team bench area, locker room or otherrestricted areas within the stadium without priorapproval from the <strong>UTC</strong> Communications and <strong>Media</strong>Relations Office.Internet Service<strong>UTC</strong> will provide wireless Internet capability withinthe working area of the Finley Stadium press box.Internet SitesOnly accredited Internet sites will be grantedgame credentials or access to <strong>UTC</strong> coaches andstudent-athletes. All inquiries must be made toJay Blackman, <strong>UTC</strong> Assistant <strong>Athletics</strong> Director forCommunications and <strong>Media</strong> Relations.<strong>Media</strong> ParkingA limited number of media parking spaces areavailable and passes are required for access. Themedia parking area is located near the southwestcorner of the stadium on the corner of 20th Streetand Carter Street, adjacent to the First TennesseePavilion.Gameday <strong>Media</strong> ServicesMembers of the media will be provided withpregame notes and statistics of both teams and• GoMocs.com is the official website of the <strong>University</strong>of Tennessee at Chattanooga <strong>Athletics</strong> Department.Redesigned on July 1, 2009, GoMocs.com offers the most up-to-date news, scores andinformation available on Mocs <strong>Athletics</strong>.media informationa flipcard with respective rosters and updatedteam information. Food and beverages will alsobe available. Statistics and running play-by-playdescription will be handed out after each quarter.Following the game, a final statistical packet withcomplete team and individual statistics, play-byplayand quotes from both teams will be available.PracticesAll <strong>UTC</strong> practices are open to the media and publicunless otherwise noted. <strong>Media</strong> members areasked to contact the Communications and <strong>Media</strong>Relations Office in advance if planning to attendpractice. The Mocs hold practice sessions atScrappy Moore Field and Finley Stadium. Pleasecheck for practice times and sites.Player InterviewsDuring Gameweek — All requests for player interviewsduring gameweek should be made at leastone day in advance with the Communications and<strong>Media</strong> Relations Office. A time mutually convenientfor the athlete and the member of the mediawill be set up. Most interviews will be conductedfollowing daily practice on location at the practicefields. Players will be asked to return telephonecalls to members of the media; player telephonenumbers will not be issued. During gameweek,the player interview deadline is Thursday evening.No player interviews will be conducted on Fridayof gameweek. Please also arrange coaching staffinterviews through the Communications and <strong>Media</strong>Relations Office. Head Coach Russ Huesman andhis staff are available Monday through Thursdayeach week.After the Game — Following a 10-minute coolingoff period, Coach Russ Huesman will meet themembers of the media in or near the Finley Stadiummedia room located between the two locker roomsbehind the west end zone. Requested <strong>UTC</strong> playerswill also be available. The <strong>UTC</strong> locker room isclosed to the media following the game. Visitingpostgame interview policies are determined by thevisiting school’s representative.To Contact Coach HuesmanThe best time to contact Coach Huesman by telephoneis between 11:00 a.m. and noon Mondaythrough Thursday. Call the Communications and<strong>Media</strong> Relations Office to set up an interview withHuesman, other football assistants or any <strong>UTC</strong>staff member.follow the mocs online2011 Mocs Footballtickets to the gameComplimentary tickets are not available for mediaor professional scouts. Those wishing to purchasetickets are urged to contact the Communicationsand <strong>Media</strong> Relations Office, which will handle theorder. Professional scouts must request credentialsby email (jay-blackman@utc.edu). The cost is $15and the seat will be in the press box provided spaceis available. Credit cards are accepted.Mocs Football <strong>Media</strong> LuncheonAll media representatives are invited to join CoachHuesman every Wednesday during the season fora weekly media luncheon. Lunch is served shortlyafter noon followed by comments from Huesmanabout the week’s upcoming opponent. Severalplayers will also be available for interviews. Theluncheon will be in the media room adjacent to theCommunications and <strong>Media</strong> Relations Office onthe first floor of McKenzie Arena.SoCON TeleconferenceA coaches/media teleconference will be held weeklyduring the season. Each Southern Conferencehead coach will be available for eight-minute segmentson a broadcast-quality, two-way feed. Checkwith the Southern Conference Office or the <strong>UTC</strong>Communications and <strong>Media</strong> Relations Office forthe schedule and phone number of teleconference.MOCS ON THE RADIO/INTERNETEvery Chattanooga Mocs football game is broadcaston the Mocs Radio Network. Fans outside ofthe Mocs Radio Network listening audience canalso tune in over the Internet on GoMocs.com.live stats and video onlineLive stats for all of the Mocs games are availableto fans on GoMocs.com.
