<strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Management</strong>’s ProfileMr TAN Pheng Hock is President and CEOof ST <strong>Engineering</strong> and a Director of theST <strong>Engineering</strong> Board. (Mr Tan’s profile canbe found on page 34.)Mr WEE Siew Kim was appointed Deputy CEOon 1 May 2004, overseeing the Aerospace andMarine sectors. He is concurrently the President,Defence Business of ST <strong>Engineering</strong>, a positionhe has held since 1 May 2002. Prior to hiscurrent position, Mr Wee was President ofST <strong>Engineering</strong>’s Europe operations from July2001. Mr Wee joined <strong>Singapore</strong> <strong>Technologies</strong>Aerospace (ST Aerospace) as an engineer in1984. He was appointed President, ST Aerospacefrom December 1997 to July 2001. Mr Weewas awarded a Bachelor of Science (First ClassHonours) in Aeronautical <strong>Engineering</strong> fromthe Imperial College of Science & Technology,University of London, UK, and holds a Masterin Business Administration from StanfordUniversity, USA. Mr Wee is also a Memberof Parliament for the Ang Mo Kio GroupRepresentative Constituency.Mr SEAH Moon Ming was appointed DeputyCEO and President (International Business)on 1 May 2004, overseeing the Electronicsand Land Systems sectors. He is concurrentlyPresident, <strong>Singapore</strong> <strong>Technologies</strong> Electronics(ST Electronics), a position he has held since8 December 1997 after serving as ManagingDirector from 1 July 1997. Mr Seah was GeneralManager of CET <strong>Technologies</strong>, a subsidiaryof ST Electronics, from July 1994 to July1997. Mr Seah holds a Master of Science inElectrical <strong>Engineering</strong>, with distinction, from theNaval Postgraduate School, USA. He is alsoa member of the International Advisory Panelof the National Information & CommunicationsTechnology, Australia, and an Executive Councilmember of the China Council for the Promotionof International Trade.Mr Francis HENG Hang Song was appointedChief Financial Officer on 21 June 2004. In thiscapacity, Mr Heng oversees the finance functions,including investor relations, of the ST <strong>Engineering</strong>Group. Prior to his current position, Mr Heng wasChief Financial Officer and Group Treasurer ofHongkong Land Holdings and Jardine MathesonGroup respectively. Mr Heng has also heldvarious positions with the Tetra Pak group, JPMorgan, Monetary Authority of <strong>Singapore</strong> andUnited Overseas Bank, and has worked in HongKong, London, New York and Switzerland.
