ENTRY DETAILSALCOHOL AND DRUG FREE EVENTCLOSING DATE: FRIDAY 8 FEBRUARY 2013 BY 4PM1. Entry is free of charge. Please note that no payment will be made for performances.2. All band members must be aged between 15 and 25 years of age, with no members exceeding 25 yearsof age on the date of the competition (Saturday 9 March 2013).3. Registration will take place on the day and proof of age must be supplied for all band members.4. Bands must contain a minimum of three members and a minimum of two instrumental components. Soloand duo artists will not be accepted.5. All bands will be permitted to perform two songs on stage. The total performance time must not exceed 10minutes.6. Songs performed must not contain any explicit content, including expletives or derogatory references.7. Your application must be accompanied by a demo CD or a link to a website or social media site where asample track from your band can be previewed by organisers.8. All bands will be notified of their performance time on stage. You will be required to arrive at the event 90minutes prior to your scheduled performance.9. Individuals may only register for one band entering in the Ingleburn Alive Battle of the Bands.10. Each band must supply one contact only. This person will be responsible for receiving all correspondenceand will be responsible for accepting any prize money. Prize money can be deposited into a joint bankaccount provided that the account is in the band’s name or jointly with the name of the primary contact.11. All bands will be required to use the drum kit and instrument amplifiers provided on stage. You may supplyyour own cymbals, however cymbals will be available should you wish to use them. All PA equipmentincluding microphones will be provided. A stage plot will be sent out to all successful applicants.12. All performers are responsible for their own equipment. No responsibility will be taken for any damaged orlost equipment.13. All members of the band must be present while judging is taking place on the day.14. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.15. All participants must be available to perform a 30 minute set at approximately 5.20pm at the event onSaturday 9 March 2013, should they win the competition. Any band who cannot commit to thisrequirement will not be eligible to participate in the competition.16. Prize money will be paid within one month of the event, by way of cheque or direct deposit.17. Please read the application form carefully and ensure you complete each section. Incomplete applicationforms will not be accepted.18. A ballot box draw will take place by Council staff should we receive more applications than availablespaces. The organisers reserve the right to limit the number of entries. Should your application besuccessful, you will receive confirmation via mail, with details outlining your performance schedule byFriday 22 February 2013.19.
