This initiative was going to allow the ordering of anew Ultra Forward USOC for both North and South <strong>Wholesale</strong> customers. <strong>Verizon</strong> will be delayingthe full deployment of that initiative as outlined below.The CLEC community will be able to begin ordering the new Ultra Forward service after the May 18,2013 release. As referenced in the OSS Notification, <strong>Verizon</strong> will convert the <strong>Wholesale</strong> customerswith the conversions taking place after the May release. <strong>Verizon</strong> will provide additional informationvia Industry Letter regarding impacts to existing customers.The new Ultra Forward service has limitations that the CLEC community must be aware of, that maynot have been issues with the previous Ultra Forward products.• The new Ultra Forward product is ordered via USOC FRC, instead of the old USOCs FRM, UF1and UF7.• The new product cannot be provisioned on the same line as Distinctive Ring. Additionally, forexisting lines that have both features, customers will need to either remove the distinctive ring orthe Ultra Forward.• The Ultra Forward product is not available in a DMS10 switch. Customers in a DMS10 switch willno longer have an Ultra Forward option available.• The new Ultra Forward product does not require the end user to have a call forwarding feature ontheir account. The Ultra Forward product contains the call forwarding service.• End Users will need to access a new toll free number to configure their Ultra Forward product. Thetoll free number is 888 383-8080.
