MAIN OBJECTIVES1. to evaluate the level of population’s knowledge onthe first measures to be taken post-earthquake2. to exchange information and share experiencebetween MS experts regarding the best practicesand recommendations on self-protection andmutual assistance between civilians, as well asbetween civilians and rescue teams3. to set up a concise set of basic rules to be followedby the population in case of earthquake until thearrival of professional intervention teamsSAFE QUAKE KICK-OFF MEETING,BRUSSELS, January 11th 2010 5
