SW2S D2.4 PU Contract N. 233967EXECUTIVE SUMMARY<strong>SAFEWAY2SCHOOL</strong> aims to design, develop, integrate and evaluate technologies for providing a holistic and safe transportation service forchildren, from the door of their homes to the entry door of their school back and forth, encompassing tools, services and training for all keyactors in the chain.The aim of task A6.6 is to verify that the <strong>SAFEWAY2SCHOOL</strong> systems are fully functional and compliant with the initial requirements. Toachieve this result, a technical verification protocol has been defined by Task 6.6 partners in order to test each system developed within theproject and to use common verification procedure between different plots sites.The methodology that has been developed within the <strong>SAFEWAY2SCHOOL</strong> project is compliant to the ISO 9001:2008 (Quality ManagementSystems) and requires the compilation of Design <strong>Verification</strong> Plans (DVP) for each of the system developed within the project. The DVP of amodule includes all the requirement defined in D2.2 for this module, the verification procedure, the partner responsible for verification and thethreshold that have to be passed for the technical verification.The <strong>Technical</strong> verification protocol of <strong>SAFEWAY2SCHOOL</strong> foresees that for each module a copy of the DVP should be completed, signed andstored as a record of technical verification.The following module has been technically verified within the project:• Driver Support System (DSS)• On board Unit (OBU)• Bus Unit (BU)• Intelligent Bus Stop (IBS)• VRU Unit• Bus Stop Inventory tool (BSIT)• Mobile applicationFor each pilot site a subset of this system has been technically verified in order to assess that all systems used within the pilot are fully workingduring the test.
