The new Veterinary Research andEducation Center, which will include the new small animalhospital, will consist of 98,000 square feet of working and officespace and is expected to be completed in late 2010. Caty Love, aveterinary student and the sophomore class president, said herclass would be the first to experience some part of their clinicaleducation in the new building. “A more impressive hospitalmakes for more and better veterinarians, and that is theultimate goal,” Love said.
