There are25 OP bands (OP1 – OP25), with OP1 being the highest.To receive an OP, you need to complete a certain number<strong>of</strong> <strong>Queensland</strong> Studies Authority subjects and satisfy otherrequirements such as sitting a <strong>Queensland</strong> Core Skills Test.What if you don’t receive the OP you need?If you miss out on the OP you need to gain entry into yourpreferred program, don’t panic. Once youhave completed this, your OP will be disregarded and yourentry rank will be calculated on the basis <strong>of</strong> your tertiarystudies onlyyou can then reapply for entry to your preferred programChoosing a program at UQThis guide will give you a good indication <strong>of</strong> the range <strong>of</strong>single degree programs available at UQ.As an alternative, many students opt to study two degreesat the same time.
