This ensuresoptimum matching and very low noisewhen connecting mic or line sources.Parametric Output EQA 4 band equaliser with swept frequencyon each band provides more preciseoptimisation of the speaker system andcontrol of feedback than the typical fixedfrequency graphic type EQ found onsimilar consoles. The majorityof live sound sources have very little contentbelow 100Hz, and modern microphoneshave wide frequency response and canpick up bleed from nearby low frequencysources such as bass and kick drums.The filter can be used: on vocal channelsto reduce mic handling noise and closeproximity ‘popping’; on drum overheadmics to reduce kick and bass pick up; onhigher frequency instruments such asflute and acoustic guitar; and on stagemics to reduce foot noise.Recording OutputsThere is a digital SPDIF 2-track outputavailable from a RCA phono socket forrecording direct to digital media, such asPC soundcards, DAT and digital audioprocessors. The recording send can beswitched pre-fade if desired.
