AccessoiresFan valve exhaust airSTVImportant features• Made of metal with epoxy coating• Low noise level• Variable adjustmentGeneralThe ventilation valve has beendeveloped to extract air fromsingle-family-dwelling mechanicalventilation systems. Suitable forrelatively low differences inpressure. The STV's maximum airvolume is 75m³/h.MaterialMade of drawn steel sheet with awhite (RAL 9010) corrosion-proofepoxy coating. Three clampingsprings are fitted to assistattachment, and a foam rubber ringis also fitted for sealing. Weight 120gram.Capacity/settingThe ventilation valves' graphs arebased on measurements withstraight duct connections. Thepressure drop over the valves isusually slightly higher for underfloorducting. The opening in mm is determinedon the basis of the capacity graph, which gives the relationshipbetween the underpressure in theduct system and the ventilationcapacity. This opening is adjustedby displacing the inner cone so thatthe centre of the adjustment screwcoincides with the required value inthe scale. Suitable for 100 or 125mm diameter ducting (STV-1-100,STV-1-125 resp.).Noise levelThe noise level applies to a roomwith an absorption of 10 m²(Sabine). Indicated intermediatesilencing levels cover the variousoctave bands for noisetransmission from air duct toventilated area.DimensionsDimensions are in mm.1
