not been given sufficient consideration and<br />

yet wood is a significant resource upon which<br />

the. livelihood. of. many. households. and. the.<br />

national.economy.depend.<br />

The.Bachelor.of.Science.in.Wood.Science.and.<br />

Technology.aims.at.developing.the.intellectual.<br />

capacity of students and to equip them with<br />

knowledge,. practical. skills. and. attitudes. to.<br />

positively.contribute.to.judicious.utilization.of.<br />

forest.products..Furthermore,.the.programme.<br />

will. produce. well-trained. professionals. with.<br />

shall. depend. on. satisfactory. completion. of.<br />

at. least. 8. courses. (21. course. units):. 6. core.<br />

courses. and. two. electives. depending. on. the.<br />

candidate’s. research. interest.. . All. masters’.<br />

degree programme students are also required to<br />

present.at.least.one.seminar.before.completing.<br />

their.degree.programme.
