MRC GRP DoorsRange of UseMRC GRP ( Glass Reinforced Polyester ) doors have beendesigned for conditions where a door has to meet USA, FDAand European GMP standards and where qualities of areinforced structure are required. They are also used insituations where a door has to have considerable chemicalresistance.Applications· Pharmaceutical plants· Electronic plants· Hospitals· Food processing factoriesMRC doors are made of glass reinforced polyester (GRP),encapsulating a high density core with a door thickness of50mm. The moisture absorption is zero.Each door has a smooth non-porous gel coat finish with softpigmented colour and any RAL colour can be achieved. Thedoors are water proof, moisture resistant and do not peel/shed. Due to the rigid sandwich structure the door is light,durable, impact resistant and does not warp.The MRC doors are moulded in different widths and heights.· If required, unequal leaves to double doors areavailable.· Doors can also be fitted to insulated panels or blockwalls.· Doors will be fixed to MRC GRP standard door framesor existing client door frames.HingesThe hinge sets selected incorporate adjustable springclosures and damping actions. The holding power of theauto hinge at the closed position is 145 kg. The restraintoffered by the damping hinge is adequate to prevent thedoors slamming shut in situations where room pressuredifferentials are such that the air pressure is assisting doorclosure. A hinge hold open feature is available if requiredfor both single and double swing applications. If required,conventional stainless steel hinges can be provided.FurnitureDead locks, lever handles, pull handles, flush bolts and panicbolts as well as other accessories can be supplied along withMRC doors on request.

Vision PanelsDouble glazed with toughened safety glass and finishedflush with both faces of door, the vision panel frame ispart of the same door moulding. There is therefore noneed for a metal frame to hold the glass. Two standardsizes are available 200 x 600mm and 400 x 400mm.SizesDoors can be supplied with the following standarddimensions. Each door isfitted with a sensor and electromagnetic lock.
