Johnson’s 11-yard touchdowngrab in the back of the end zone with 28 seconds remaining provedto be the deciding score.Playing with only three linebackers for the entire second half, the<strong>Texans</strong> had trouble matching up against the Chiefs’ rushing attack,which totaled 228 yards and a score. The defense also allowed a42-yard passing touchdown to WR Dwayne Bowe.The usual suspects on offense helped the <strong>Texans</strong> over<strong>com</strong>e thedefensive lapses. Schaub and Johnson connected five times for 87yards and a score in the second half, while RB Arian Foster scoredtwice in the fourth quarter.Schaub finished with 305 yards on 25-of-33 passing with twotouchdowns and no interceptions.Midway through the third quarter, Bowe scored his long touchdownreception to give Kansas City a 21-7 lead.<strong>Texans</strong> RB Derrick Ward scored on a 38-yard touchdown run offthe left tackle. CB Brice McCain broke up a third-down pass onthe next series to force a 24-yard field goal.Foster scored his first touchdown to cut the <strong>Texans</strong>’ deficit to24-21 with 12:10 on the game clock. But the Chiefs responded withan 11-yard touchdown run from RB Thomas Jones.Foster’s second score further closed the gap.
