IntroduCtIon<br />
At <strong>International</strong> house we pride ourselves in designing and<br />
managing fun, modern and educational summer programmes<br />
for international learners of all ages from around the globe.<br />
Quality and excellence are at the core of our ethos, and this<br />
combined with an exciting and fun environment has helped<br />
us in becoming one of Ireland’s leading summer schools.<br />
Whether you choose our new residence in university college<br />
cork or our homestay programme at Sutton Park School you<br />
will receive the care, attention and a truly unique experience<br />
that will create lifelong memories.<br />
The learning and social environment in our centres throughout<br />
Ireland are uniquely interactive and encouraging. Through<br />

Junior Summer homestay<br />

including packed lunch sharing a twin room<br />
with a student of a different nationality<br />
• Afternoon activities (monday-Friday)<br />
• half day excursion to cork city centre<br />
every week<br />
• one evening activity per week<br />
• Full day excursion every Saturday<br />
• use of course books and materials<br />
• end of course certificate<br />
host family accommodation is offered on a<br />
full-board basis with a family who lives close to<br />
the university. All of our families are visited to<br />
assess their suitability to host our students and<br />
all are provided with guidelines detailing their<br />
obligations and responsibilities to the young<br />
people in their care. The majority of our host<br />
families are parents themselves and many still<br />
have young children and teenagers living at<br />
home. Accommodation is in a twin room, sharing<br />
with a student of a different nationality.<br />

Junior Summer Programme (Age 11-17)<br />
university college cork is host to <strong>International</strong> house’s NeW summer centre.<br />
As an extremely proud city that has boasted visits from those such as michael Jackson<br />
to the recent visit of Queen elizabeth, cork is one of Ireland’s most attractive<br />
tourist destinations.<br />

Junior Summer Programme (Age 11-17)<br />
Sutton Park School is an exclusive private school with excellent facilities situated in its own<br />
grounds including a heated outdoor swimming pool, astroturf pitch, indoor gymnasium, computer<br />
room and arts & crafts room. The centre is located on the beautiful howth Peninsula on the<br />
north side of <strong>Dublin</strong> Bay, 12km from the city centre and close to the traditional fishing village of<br />
howth. The programme at Sutton Park School offers both homestay and luxurious residential<br />
accommodation at the nearby Deer Park resort with breath taking views of <strong>Dublin</strong> Bay.<br />

The Junior residential Programme combines the benefits of studying in the academic environment of Sutton<br />
Park School with luxurious hotel-style accommodation and facilities at the Deer Park resort, located in the<br />
grounds of howth castle overlooking <strong>Dublin</strong> Bay. Facilities at Deer Park include Ireland’s largest golf complex,<br />
heated indoor swimming pool, steam room & sauna, outdoor tennis courts & obstacle course and a large<br />
function room & common rooms for evening activities. Accommodation is in large shared bedrooms with 3-4<br />
students. All rooms have a TV, lounge area and spacious private bathroom.<br />

our young adult programme in <strong>Dublin</strong>’s city centre is located on one of <strong>Dublin</strong>’s most<br />
fashionable streets. <strong>Dublin</strong> is the capital city of Ireland and is now one of europe’s<br />
vibrant leading cities for young people to live, study and work. Trinity college lies in<br />
the heart of the city and as one of the leading universities has inspired writers, musicians,<br />
poets, artists and scientists. It was these <strong>Dublin</strong> streets where acts such as u2,<br />
The corrs and many traditional, classical and jazz artists began their careers. Likewise<br />
many artists display their produce in the many organised outdoor and indoor exhibitions<br />
throughout the year.<br />
