A "<strong>family</strong>" is "any group of two ormore people who consider themselves a <strong>family</strong>." Familyvolunteer<strong>in</strong>g can be done by the whole <strong>family</strong> together, byone parent and one child or teen, by sibl<strong>in</strong>gs together or byextended <strong>family</strong> such as grandparents, aunts, uncles andcous<strong>in</strong>s. It can be as simple as draw<strong>in</strong>g cards for children<strong>in</strong> the hospital or as complex as bond<strong>in</strong>g hundreds offamilies together <strong>in</strong> a day of volunteer work at acommunity park.
