In order toreceive an award with distinction, a mean mark of 70% must be attained, and a mark of 60-69% to achieve amerit. APL claims will be considered from students who have successfully completed elements of a BPSaccredited MSc <strong>Sport</strong> and Exercise <strong>Psychology</strong> programme at another HEI.One external examiner who, following BPS guidelines, is an appropriately qualified and experienced <strong>Sport</strong> andExercise Psychologist, works with the programme team. The external examiner is involved with the scrutiny ofall assessments that contribute to the award and reports annually on the programme quality and standardsagainst the subject benchmarks.All programmes leading to LJMU awards operate within the <strong>University</strong>'s Academic Framework.
