Every Tuesday morn<strong>in</strong>g like clockwork, a highly successful and spontaneously formed group of about a dozen<br />
volunteers descend on the Library. These are our “read<strong>in</strong>g buddies”. Each one has a student from grades 1, 2, 3,<br />
6, 7, or 8 to read with for forty m<strong>in</strong>utes. Quite a bond is formed throughout the year. The pairs fan out all over<br />
the second floor hallway, stairway and library and create a wonderful read<strong>in</strong>g buzz. Every student is eligible for<br />
the program, which is looked forward to and clearly enjoyed by all.<br />
