FP6 – 507483Deliverable 9.51 INTRODUCTIONOne of the external <strong>tutorials</strong> described in (D14.1) has been captured on video, as well asan internal <strong>DIP</strong> tutorial. The external tutorial is Net Object Days 2004 held in Erfurt,Germany, on the 24 th of September 2004. The internal <strong>DIP</strong> Training Workshop tookplace on the 8th January 2005, in Innsbruck, Austria. Both can be accessed from thefollowing public URL:http://stadium.open.ac.uk/dip/The following section provides an overview of the interface used to link the slides to thevideo.2 ONLINE INTERFACEFig. 1 presents the interface used in both online presentations. The software XO Stage(http://cnm.open.ac.uk/projects/xo/) developed by the OU is used to present at the sametime the video of the tutorial and the accompanying slides. The presentation can runthrough automatically (for a kiosk application for example), or the viewer can jump tosections using the scrollable 'slide tray' which is created automatically from a list ofsection titles and times.
