144 - 174 MHzTPRD-1554, 1556BANDPASS / REJECT DUPLEXERSTPRD-1554TPRD-1556The Telewave Model TPRD-1554and TPRD-1556 duplexers allowsimultaneous operation of atransmitter and receiver into acommon antenna. These pass-rejectduplexers are ideal for systems withvery close frequency spacing. The Telewave TPRD-1554 has twopass-reject cavities in the transmitterand receiver sections. This duplexeris designed for transmitters andreceivers with frequency spacingof 600 KHz or more. The TPRD-1556 has three passrejectcavities in the transmitterand receiver sections. This duplexeris designed for transmitters andreceivers with frequency spacingof 400 KHz or more.Because of their superiorconstruction, these Telewave 5”cavity duplexers achieve greaterrejection of transmitter spuriousand noise radiation, providingexcellent receiver protection.Telewave duplexers have ¼ ”aluminum top plates which arefully welded to the aluminum outerconductor. Silver-plated tuners, beryllium copper finger stockcontactors and threaded Invarrods assure maximum temperaturestability, higher “Q”, and many yearsof trouble free operation.Selectivity and insertion loss may beadjusted by rotating the calibratedconnector loops. (See next page fortypical response curves.)All duplexers are tuned andtested with customer-specifiedfrequencies prior to shipping. Iffrequency changes are required, thepositive locking mechanism allowsfor easy field tuning by rotating thethreaded Invar rod.The optional TBC-40 indoorcabinet completely enclosesthe duplexer, and protects itfrom dust, dirt and tampering. All connections are accessiblefrom the top of the cabinet. All specifications subjectto change without noticeTWDS-6025 Rev. 11/08
