NEBB’s <strong>Cleanroom</strong> <strong>Performance</strong> <strong>Testing</strong> <strong>Certified</strong> <strong>Professional</strong> Seminar and Exam<strong>Cleanroom</strong> fundamentals examination:The NEBB CPT discipline is similar to all of the other NEBB disciplines in that there are written andpractical examinations that must be successfully completed in order to attain certification as a <strong>Certified</strong>Technician and <strong>Certified</strong> <strong>Professional</strong>. These written and practical examinations test the knowledge,engineering application and field testing skills required to properly test the performance of today’scleanrooms. In preparation for the upcoming exam and seminar, the NEBB <strong>Cleanroom</strong> Committeewants to make sure everyone comes prepared for the exam. The exam will consist of two parts.A two hour general knowledge examThe general knowledge exam is multiple choice formatThere are several questions that require calculationsThe test is intended to cover the following:Establishing test criteria based on a given scopeKnowledge of standardsSOP RequirementsSafety RequirementsPrimary TestsSecondary TestsA report review examThe report review exam should take four hours, however we will allow test candidates up to anadditional hour if necessary.The test focuses on the following:Verification that all testing conforms to the SOP providedConfirming the validity of data providedIdentification of errorsConformance to industry standards referenced in the SOP providedOptional: Technician HEPA Leak TestNEBB will offer practical exams for the NEBB <strong>Cleanroom</strong> <strong>Certified</strong> Technician qualification onThursday, October 24 by paying the required registration fee by October 7, 2013. This exam is requiredfor achieving NEBB-<strong>Certified</strong> Technician status.Candidates taking the optional hands-on test will be tested using their choice of the Photometer or theParticle Counter Leak Test Method. You are required to bring your own calibrated Photometer orParticle Counter and Diluter that you are familiar with so as not to hinder your chances with passing thistest if you intend on taking the practical exam.4
