The gel vehicle is povidone. Thepatch is formulated to contain 5 mcg/cm 2 of methyldibromo glutaronitrile, which corresponds to 4 mcg of methyldibromo glutaronitrile per patch. Methyldibromoglutaronitrile is commonly used in cosmetic and personal care products such as body creams, facial and hand lotions, sun screens, baby lotions, showergels, ultrasonic gel, toilet paper, shampoos, and massage oils.
