Alnæs, Anders LoggThis creates a directory ufl-x.y.z containing the UFL source code.If you want the very latest version of UFL, it can be accessed directly fromthe development repository through hg (Mercurial):# hg clone http://www.fenics.org/hg/uflThis version may contain features not yet present in the latest release, butmay also be less stable and even not work at all.B.1.3 Installing UFLUFL follows the standard installation procedure for Python packages. Enterthe source directory of UFL and issue the following command:# python setup.py installThis will install the UFL Python package in a subdirectory called ufl in thedefault location for user-installed Python packages (usually something like/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages).Inaddition, theexecutableufl-analyse(aPythonscript)willbeinstalledinthe default directory for user-installed Python scripts (usually in /usr/bin).To see a list of optional parameters to the installation script, type# python setup.py install --helpIf you don’t have root access to the system you are using, you can pass the--homeoptiontotheinstallationscripttoinstallUFLinyourhomedirectory:# mkdir ~/local# python setup.py install --home ~/local99
