Iloose and flammable items must be removed from the initial blast area before firing.c. Electrical Storms. The missile on the erector-launcher (EL) is susceptible to lightning strikes. The possibilis greatly increased when the missile is vertical. During electrical storms, the missile should be lowered a1personnel should be cleared from the immediate vicinity of the equipment.
