Multiple Serverscan be clustered in a single Systemto store many thousands of moviesand albums as a single collection.The Kaleidescape 1U Server providesredundant storage for your collectionusing a proprietary disk storagetechnology called RAID-K. If a diskfails, the Kaleidescape Systemcontinues to operate and no contentis lost. The failed drive is replacedwithout turning off the Server ordisrupting playbacks that are inprogress.The Kaleidescape 1U Server deliversmovies and music, over a standardresidential network, simultaneouslyto Kaleidescape Movie Players andMusic Players throughout the home.Once movies and music are storedon your Kaleidescape 1U Server, theycan be enjoyed instantly in any Playerequippedroom.
