Its higher vehicle demand than many of theother gloss ink blacks tends to limit its application inhighly loaded bases.Liquid InksREGAL <strong>330</strong> pigment black is very applicable in liquid inksrequiring low viscosity, high gloss and good jetness. It’sgloss and strength are a good combination for the highend publication applications as well as for packaging inkson non-porous substrates.Other ApplicationsREGAL <strong>330</strong> pigment black is commonly used as apigment in general dispersions and in dual componentelectrostatic toners.The dispersibility of REGAL <strong>330</strong> pigment black dependson the equipment used and the formulation. It ismoderately hard to disperse compared to other pelletizedGloss Ink Blacks as well as blacks used in liquid inks.However, with the proper equipment and formulation, anexcellent quality ink can be produced with REGAL <strong>330</strong>pigment black.REGAL <strong>330</strong> is a pelleted pigment black with a typical bulkdensity of 28 lbs/ft3 (449 g/L) that can be bulk handled.
