February 2011LAND PANEL by Alan BatesWelcome back. There is a new yearwith clearly defined goals ahead of us.By the time you read this article thereshould have been significant work doneat the Clubrooms. We have started on job number 844 atRingwood. There are a couple of thousandleft. In fact there are enough jobs availableto employ most of the club members. The poor turnout at the advertisedworking bee on Saturday 22nd Januarywould suggest these days may well becancelled and DAD's Army will get thework done on the Thursday work days. This will give the regulars the Saturdayoff.I think we will only have weekend workingbees for special jobs that need doing. There are some of these coming upover the next few months. There isn't much else to report on at themoment. I will be able to advise on thetrackwork at Ringwood in the nextmagazine if all goes well. One of the special jobs that may requireinput from the members is preparationof the facilities for the NationalMeeting in April.Cheers,AlanTHURSDAY WORKING BEESare held at Ringwood Park byDAD’S army on most Thursdays. You are welcome to come & help. Please bring gloves & a hat butring first to check if we are there.Contact: Alan Bates 0412 280 093or Doug Rae 0434 141 501OFFICIAL WORKING BEES FOR 2011 Saturday February 12thPage 19World Rally ChampionshipThrough the Coffs Harbour and District Sporting Car Club, I would like toinvite anyone who might be a CAMS Official or anyone who would like todo a road closure or help, to the World Rally Championship round beingheld in Coffs Harbour 8/12 September 2011.
