Vapors are then drawn upinto the carburetor and are burned in the normalcombustion process.The carbon canister is located in the enginecompartment, ahead of the front wheel on thefender panel and opposite the battery location.The replaceable filter pad is located in the bottomof the carbon canister in the American Motors,Chrysler and GM family cars.To change the filter pad, remove the canister fromits mounting bracket, slide out the old filter andcarefully insert the new pad in the base of thecanister.1985-92 All V-8 Eng.1985-93 All (Exc. 4 cyl.)General Motors Family of Cars1985-92 All 4 cyl.
