Public Health Nursehe role of the public health nurseTat Crowfoot Village Family Practice(CVFP) is to assist families with childrenunder 6 years of age in acceptingresponsibility for their own health, and tocontribute to improving overall healthof the public by providing public healthnursing services which include:1. Health assessment, consultationand teaching appropriate to alldevelopmental phases throughout thelifespan.2. Delivery of preventative and promotivemeasures including vaccination,screening, referral, follow-up, educationand client advocacy.3.
