God’s Building at FCSJeff Van PeltVolunteer Project ManagerThe lake is up, and the building ison its way! We broke ground on thenew middle school and elementarygymnasium March 23rd. As of thisprinting, out of the last 8 weeks,6 have brought rain. While this isgreat news for filling the lake andending the drought, it has been asignificant challenge to our constructionschedule. In spite of the challengethe weather has presented,we have made amazing progress. The concrete block walls of the newgymnasium are up, the steel hasbeen delivered and the roof will soonbe erected. Our construction teamis moving as quickly as the weatherpermits. Our plan is to increase thesize of the inside crews once we areable get the building enclosed, allowingus to make up some of the timelost to weather delays. If you havenot been on campus lately, I invite youto take a drive behind the high schooland see for yourself the progress wehave made so far!ON CAMPUS
