caught -- I was -- I had already gone missed approach.<br />
MR. BURNS: Yeah.<br />
CAPT. BAUR: Completed the approach. I was<br />
not on the ILS anymore. And I was turning the aircraft<br />
to the southwest.<br />
MR. BURNS: Uh-huh.<br />
CAPT. BAUR: The standard miss here is to go<br />
to O-9-0, so I was going around the southwest to --<br />
to -- to head for that heading. And in the turn -- and<br />
-- and had started climbing.<br />
And I -- this is the whole thing that has<br />
bothered me for some time -- is something -- I felt as<br />
if something had -- told me to look there. And -- and<br />
I don't know what it was. So, I can't definitely say<br />
what that was.<br />
MR. BURNS: Okay.<br />
CAPT. BAUR: But what I did see at that point<br />
was, like, an object that was moving quickly with this<br />
white burning flame, if you will, coming out of the<br />
back of it. And I saw that. And I said to my<br />
engineer, "IS that pyre?" So, I just thought that --<br />
that -- like, why would there be -- and I'm asking<br />
myself, why is there pyro out there?<br />
I -- I guess I was looking for a confirmation<br />
from him that maybe he knew -- maybe he -- I missed<br />
