Wide machine clearance, low isocenter,un-intimidating fascia design and near-silent operation provide a reassuring setting anda less stressful environment. The low minimum height of Precise Table means easieraccess for patients and the smooth, easy-to-clean covering makes it as hygienic aspossible.Page 1

Clinically effectiveCapable of delivering a range ofradiation therapy techniques, interfacingwith a variety of Elekta accessories.FlexibleLarge patient clearance ensures thattreatment technique can be optimizedand provides easy access for patientset-up.Cost-effectiveRobust and reliable solution for everydayradiation therapy, ensures high patientthroughput and maximum clinicalup-time.Elekta Compact TM is not for sale or distributionin all markets. Please contact your local Elektarepresentative or authorised distributor.Page 2

FlexibleEasy accessElekta Compact TM provides unrivalledpatient clearance (45cm accessory ringto isocenter), essential for both routineand advanced techniques. Radiationhead clearance provides the spatialrequirements essential for non-coplanarbeams. The compact X-rayhead facilitates access to otherwiseinaccessible inferior posterior obliquetreatment angles. The coded shadow tray provides ameans for attaching shielding blocksonto the head of Elekta Compact. Whendedicated for a patient, these coded trayscan provide additional security for theaccurate delivery of treatment.Page 3

Wide clearancePrecise patient set-upStreamlining the entire processThe low isocentric height, combinedwith the exceptional clearance, enablesunrestricted access for a wide range ofgantry positions, enabling routine breastand head-and-neck work without havingto compromise technique.Due to the clearance on Elekta Compact, patients receiving radical breasttreatment can be treated with botharms raised whilst supported on a breastboard. For more conformal techniques, a rangeof accessory mounts and custom orstandard blocking trays are available. Thelow isocenter of Elekta Compact ensuresthat attachment of beam-shapingaccessories and lifting of shielding blocksis simple and convenient.Through the unique, patented Z-drivemechanism, Precise Table achievesunparalleled positional accuracy at bothextremes of elevation. For stereotacticapplications the table fitted with theC-arm or iBEAM® evo carbon fibertabletop provides an exceptionalcombination of positional accuracy andaccess to the head-and-neck area fortreatment from any angle. The extensive range of tabletops andtable accessories available with PreciseTable offers further clinical flexibility. The large vertical table range enablesthe treatment of large fields at extendeddistances and irradiation from beneathwith a source-to-skin distance of up to150cm.The unique large field automatic wedgeminimizes the need for complicated QAand planning procedures, saving timeand cost and improving throughput.Additionally, the integration of thiswedge into the head of the linearaccelerator means there is no lifting ofheavy external wedges. The fully integrated autowedge enablesthe wedge to be put into position fromoutside the treatment room, therebyimproving treatment workflow.New functions and features can be easilyadded to support an increasingly broadrange of radiation therapy applications.Page 4
