For stereotacticapplications the table fitted with theC-arm or iBEAM® evo carbon fibertabletop provides an exceptionalcombination of positional accuracy andaccess to the head-and-neck area fortreatment from any angle.The extensive range of tabletops andtable accessories available with PreciseTable offers further clinical flexibility.The large vertical table range enablesthe treatment of large fields at extendeddistances and irradiation from beneathwith a source-to-skin distance of up to150cm.The unique large field automatic wedgeminimizes the need for complicated QAand planning procedures, saving timeand cost and improving throughput.Additionally, the integration of thiswedge into the head of the linearaccelerator means there is no lifting ofheavy external wedges.The fully integrated autowedge enablesthe wedge to be put into position fromoutside the treatment room, therebyimproving treatment workflow.New functions and features can be easilyadded to support an increasingly broadrange of radiation therapy applications.Page 4

Rapid patient set-upSimple user interfaceFunction keypadThe relative zero capability enablesprecise and uncomplicated table shiftsfrom planning reference points.Linear accelerator and treatment tablemovement is provided by a handheldcontroller in the treatment room withtreatment parameters displayed on anin-room monitor which can be easilydisplayed anywhere in the treatmentroom. Alternatively, table movementscan be made from the control unitspositioned at either side of the Precisetable.The Elekta Compact TM user interfaceenables easy parameter entry for patientprescriptions and treatment delivery.A data output interface to MOSAIQverify-and-record system will facilitatecapture of delivered parameters oncetreatment is complete.To ensure Elekta Compact user interfacecan support a range of global languages,support for multiple fonts is provided.The desktop function keypad is designedfor simplicity and ease-of-use.
