epic novel!<br />
My mama always told me, “One day you’ll have the spotlight, son. you<br />
will be there, all you got to do is try.” Here I am waiting for that moment, being<br />
that bum on the corner as everyone always called me. The only thing I have<br />
with me is a dirty pair of socks and some grated-cheese pair of jeans and a raggedy<br />
old shirt. The dream I have to this day is of being a famous hip hop singer.<br />
This morning I decided to find a piece of paper and start a song, now that today<br />
my old mom passed away. I know I am destined to write a song about how she<br />
taught me what I learned from her. I will even be able to use some of my favorite<br />
quotes that I’ve heard her say. But I’m too lazy to even walk a foot. I can barely<br />
move without people making fun of me. Today I will stand up for myself like the<br />
president of the United States.<br />
I need to find a pencil. Without the pencil I won’t be able to write the song. I<br />
won’t be able to make any money. All I want to do is make my mom proud and be<br />
able to accomplish what my mom said I would be able to, to make it in the spotlight.<br />
I want to make my mom proud and today is my shot. I can’t blow it. While<br />
I am walking the street I am able to hear people talking behind me. Then all of<br />
a sudden one of the people throws a pencil at me. Inside my popped out veins,
